Who is Clover Bee?

Clover Bee Farm is the creation of Andrew and Margaret. In 2015 we connected with Juliet and Prescott in River Falls, WI through the Land Stewardship classifieds section. We rented land in River Falls for 3 years. The farm started with humble beginnings and continues to humble us to this day.

In 2018 we were granted farm ownership through the USDA-FSA program. Since then we have moved our farm to low-till practices focusing on soil health. We do not own a tractor or a tiller. We hope to leave this place better than we found it by implementing low-till and conservation practices. In addition to that, we would like to inspire you to think of farming from a different perspective. There is great value in wondering and learning. Those are two things, among many, that drive the farm forward.

The name of the farm does not relate to honey but to pollinators. Without an array of pollinators, many vegetables would not exist. The poem “To Make A Prairie”, by Emily Dickinson inspired the farm name. We are grateful, awed, and humbled by nature daily. Additionally, there is constant gratitude to all who have made this journey and career choice possible.
