This year, we farmed, studied, and worked outside the farm. We talked, meditated, and enjoyed our weekends. Farming as a full-time job has its freedoms, but also brings stress. Unpredictable weather, changes in buying habits, and life changes led us to pause full-time farming in 2024.
Margaret is working on a teaching licensure and an M.A.Ed., and Andrew started a new job as a carpenter while also pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in K-6 Education. We learned a lot about ourselves, what we like and don’t like about farming.
In 2026, we plan to grow vegetables again, but on a smaller scale that fits our lives. We will offer a CSA and sell garden plant starts. We're excited about this and hope you are too. Happy winter to everyone!
Happy cozy season,
Margaret, Andrew, and the cats (Milton and Ellie)!
